"For cataract, at some stage in which the patient is compromised, there is no way other than surgical procedure. On glaucoma, screening needs to be done up & adhere to a regular eye, glaucoma medications given & sometimes need surgical procedure," concluded Dr. Gita.
While glaucoma, caused by liquid channels blocked out in the eyeball, so that the eye enlarges & presses on the optic nerve located behind the eyeball. In the finish, the optic nerve blood flow so do not get dead. There's common types of glaucoma that is closed & open-angle corners. Both are common in men & females aged 40 years & over.
